SGP LogoThe Secret Garden Party in Cambridgeshire also has places for work.. an there's rumours of bestival being added to the festys available to work, im doing these two, glade is one i've always wanted to make it too, got quite the reputation to say the least hah

The biggest one of the year..

This is the place to be this year without a doubt, sounds like a dream on earth so hope it lives up to its expectations. The LINE-UP, i can simply say is probably the best I've ever seen.. and with the DUBNIUM crew representing the best of roots, jungle and dub, hopefully we can wake up to some lovely reggae vibes as the suns rising over the Croatian waters.

So ye, sunny beaches, people with a love for bass, beautiful location.. same price as glasto inc. flights if your lucky. Holiday and festival in one.. see you there if you've got the funds

First post.. bit of background

So basically this blog is for me to keep track of what I'm doing in this events industry.. what I've learnt, what fucked up and evaluate + ramble about nights and festivals I'll be visiting and gettin involved with this summer. I'm hoping to attend at least 8 fetsys this year working half an rinsing the rest so wanna keep myself updated.

And about me, I'm an 18 year old student studying Events and Festival Management at Bucks new uni in High Wycombe, far far out north east London. I'm trying to balance out uni deadlines an promoting and helping out with a few local nights.. i've so far put on 2 nights here in high Wycombe which have had a distinctly average turnout but I'm learning as i go an I'm feelin young so got so much to learn.

Festivals are my real passion and I've been going since i was 15 which was reading 06, back in the fuked up little emo days. Since then I've had some life changin experiences at festivals and not to do with the highs an stuff, but the vibe.. the community, the friendliness and wiliness to meet an share music, food and culture.

That's what i strive for one day.. my own creation of one of these gatherings, and to make a successful career out of it. The uni course is teaching me the theory and technics behind the industry but this is all about taking note as a witness an student...

Anyway here's a couple of flyer's for some nights I've run recently..
